Stand in the Gap

STAND

“Standing in the Gap”

Three Days of Praying and Fasting!!!

March 30th, 31st and April 1st

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,” 1 Timothy 2:1

Over these three days, may we stand in the gap for our family, church, friends and nation.  Allow this time of prayer to be a bridge that brings the gospel to all people of every race, religion, class or identity.  There is only one solution to crisis, to hurt, to suffering and death…Jesus Christ!

Church will you stand in the gap with us?  Will you be a bridge builder that takes every opportunity to let the gospel close the gap?

During these three days we would ask you to pray!  To spend time individually praying as well as with your family.  Begin to strategize how you will adjust these three days to collectively give time to pray.

Fasting Options:

Wednesday, April 1st pray for our State and Nation

“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities’ resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval,”    Romans 13:1-3

“Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:37-40 (ESV)
